Bree’s Bridal Shower — Food, Fun, and a Dirty Soda Bar

There are some events that just stick with you, and Bree’s bridal shower was one of them. Bree isn’t just a bride — she’s also a vendor I absolutely love working with, so when she asked us to be part of her wedding season, I was honored. Even though her wedding is taking place out of state, she knew she wanted Top Shelf to have a role in her celebrations, and her Oklahoma bridal shower was the perfect fit.

Food That Feels Like a Party

For her shower, we built a menu full of fun and easy-to-love appetizers: grilled cheese shooters, meatball subs, spinach dip, queso, and colorful pinwheels. The vibe was relaxed, but we still wanted it to feel special and intentional. Let me tell you — the grilled cheese shooters and meatball subs were a HIT. Guests were talking about them all afternoon, which is exactly what we love to hear.

The Dirty Soda Bar Twist

One of my favorite parts of this shower was the Dirty Soda Bar. Instead of cocktails, Bree wanted something playful and unique, so guests got to build their own sodas with fun mix-ins and flavors. It was such a crowd pleaser! Ashley, one of our team members, was there to handle food service but went above and beyond by mixing Dirty Sodas for guests too. It was a little extra touch that made the day even more memorable.

Service with Heart

For me, catering isn’t just about the food — it’s about the whole experience. At Bree’s shower, our goal was to make sure everything felt seamless, welcoming, and celebratory. From keeping the food table stocked and beautiful, to jumping in wherever guests needed a hand, my team made sure the day was effortless for Bree and her family. That’s the Top Shelf difference.

Why This Event Meant So Much

Bree has sent so many wonderful clients my way over the years, and that kind of trust means the world to me. For her to then turn around and choose us for her own celebration was the biggest honor. Moments like this remind me why I love what I do — it’s about more than food, it’s about the relationships and being there for people during the milestones that matter most.
