Why Top Shelf Now Pairs Food and Bar Service
One of the questions we receive from time to time is why Top Shelf Cuisine & Cocktails now focuses on events where we provide both food and bar service together, rather than bar-only service.
The answer is simple. It comes down to service and protecting the guest experience.
A Dessert That Comes to the Guests: The Cannoli Experience
One of our favorite moments during an event is when guests notice something unexpected happening in the room.
A member of our team begins walking through the crowd wearing a tray filled with cannoli shells and toppings. Guests start to gather around, curious about what is happening. Within a few moments, the room realizes they are watching fresh cannolis being made right in front of them.
That is the beginning of The Cannoli Experience.
Celebrating Matthew Jackson’s Retirement at Castle Spirits Distillery
What meant the most was hearing how much they loved the entire experience. From communication to flexibility to execution on event day, everything came together seamlessly.
Connie shared:
“Top Shelf is amazing! The owner is quick to communicate and never hesitated to adapt to changes for our event. I highly recommend them for any catering needs. I give 6 out of 5 stars!”
That kind of feedback never gets old.
The Sanders’ French Garden Romance at Sorelle
Some celebrations stay with you long after the music fades and the last glass is cleared.
Lindsey and Nathan’s wedding was one of those days, where every detail felt intentional, every laugh carried weight, and every moment felt deeply held.
A Wedding I Was Truly Excited About
There are some weddings you look forward to because they’re beautiful. Some because they’re fun. And then there are the ones you’re excited about because you just know the day is going to be special.
Matthew and Bethany’s wedding was one of those for me.
The Problems You Never See Are the Ones That Matter Most
Most of the work that makes an event feel seamless happens long before guests arrive and continues quietly while they are enjoying themselves.
Ellie and Ricardo: A Love Story at Express Ranch
Some love stories start with fireworks and others begin quietly, in the everyday moments of life. For Ellie and Ricardo, their story began at work, where two servers shared long shifts, easy conversations, and an undeniable connection. What started as simply working together grew into something much deeper, and over the next three years, their bond only strengthened.
A Bright, Joy-Filled Oklahoma Wedding: The Mollmans
Some love stories feel like fate. Others feel like answered prayers. Emily and Michael’s story is beautifully both.
Their October 3, 2025 wedding was a colorful, joy-filled celebration that reflected who they are at their core — fun, faith-centered, and full of heart. The ceremony took place at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, followed by a lively reception at McGranahan Barn.
Why Holiday Parties Will Always Have My Heart
Every caterer has those events that light them up a little extra. Weddings, private parties, galas — I love them all.
But corporate and nonprofit holiday parties? They hold a special place in my heart.
Let me tell you why.
Understanding How Our Pricing Works and Why It’s Set Up This Way
Planning your wedding or event should feel exciting, not stressful, especially when it comes to pricing. At Top Shelf Cuisine & Cocktails, we keep things simple and honest so you always know what to expect.
Raising the Bar: A Top Shelf Celebration for Kelley & Chris
Some weddings stay with you long after the last toast — and Kelley & Chris’s celebration at The Grand Canadian Theater was one of them. From their boho-meets-sneakerball vibe to a dance floor full of laughter, every detail reflected their joyful energy. Top Shelf Cuisine & Cocktails was honored to provide bartending service for their unforgettable day, keeping the drinks flowing and the good times going.
AI vs. Real Life: What Really Happens Behind the Bar and Buffet
Artificial intelligence has officially entered the world of food and events, and wow, it’s made things look stunning. Perfectly styled charcuterie boards, glowing cocktails, elaborate tablescapes that look like they belong in a movie—it’s easy to get swept up in the beauty of it all.
But here’s what most people don’t realize: some of those incredible photos making the rounds online aren’t real. They’re AI-generated or carefully styled for photography rather than actual service. And while that might not sound like a big deal, for those of us working behind the scenes at real events, it can create a completely different kind of challenge.
Asley & Logan’s Elegant Wedding at The Springs in Edmond
“Top Shelf made the wedding so much less stressful for me. I knew that I could trust them to get the job done and it made the day much more enjoyable for Logan and I. They truly want to elevate your wedding day and ensure that the food and bartending services are perfect! And they’re the sweetest!”
Bree’s Bridal Shower — Food, Fun, and a Dirty Soda Bar
Bree’s bridal shower was the perfect mix of fun, flavor, and heart. From crowd-pleasing bites like grilled cheese shooters and mini meatball subs to a playful Dirty Soda Bar that guests couldn’t get enough of, every detail was designed to feel intentional and celebratory. Hosted in Oklahoma and catered by Top Shelf Cuisine & Cocktails, the event showcased how good food and seamless service can turn a simple gathering into an unforgettable experience.
Why Tray Service Elevates Any Event — From Weddings to Corporate Galas
Cocktail hour sets the tone for any event. Whether it’s the first moments after a wedding ceremony or the kickoff to a corporate gala, guests are gathering, mingling, and figuring out where they fit in. And let’s be honest — it can feel a little intimidating at first.
Have you ever walked into a room full of people and thought: “Okay… where do I go? Who do I talk to? Do I even know anyone here?” You’re not alone — that’s exactly what many guests are thinking.
That’s why tray-passed cocktails and heavy appetizers aren’t just a nice touch — they completely change the experience.
