A Bright, Joy-Filled Oklahoma Wedding: The Mollmans
Some love stories feel like fate. Others feel like answered prayers. Emily and Michael’s story is beautifully both.
Their October 3, 2025 wedding was a colorful, joy-filled celebration that reflected who they are at their core — fun, faith-centered, and full of heart. The ceremony took place at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, followed by a lively reception at McGranahan Barn.

How They Met
Emily and Michael met thanks to a little matchmaking from Michael’s older sister, Amanda. Emily worked in the front office at St. John Nepomuk Catholic School, where Amanda’s children attended. Convinced they’d be a great match, Amanda invited Emily to a group dinner and later invited Michael to “casually” join.
Michael didn’t say much that night, but he left intrigued by the confident woman in hot pink Nike Dunks. Wanting to know her better, he began volunteering with the church youth group where Emily already served. Faith led the way, with a little encouragement from persistence.
Their first date was mini golf in Bricktown, full of laughter and easy conversation. On the drive home, Emily asked Michael to teach her how to drive his manual car… a not-so-subtle excuse to hold his hand. Sparks were clearly flying.
Later, a shared love of Shrek 2 and a quiet moment in the Marian garden at St. Thomas More sealed what they both already felt: this was something special.
The Proposal
Michael proposed on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, just after Mass. Surrounded by family and spring flowers, he told Emily she was his best friend and the person he wanted to spend forever with, and then dropped to one knee. She said yes through joyful tears.
The Wedding
Emily and Michael’s wedding vibe was fun, colorful, eclectic, and bright. Personal touches made the day uniquely theirs, including green Adidas wedding shoes, pearls everywhere, Diet Coke and Coke added to the bar menu, a bounce house and cornhole for over 100 kids, and walking into the reception to “Boomer Sooner.”
The result was a celebration that felt relaxed, joyful, and welcoming for guests of all ages.

Elevating the Reception with Top Shelf Cuisine & Cocktails
The couple hired Top Shelf Cuisine & Cocktails for bartending services after a recommendation from their venue. Their open bar featured guest-favorite classics, including Old Fashioneds, whiskey and Coke, and red and white wine.
The Old Fashioneds quickly became a standout. Multiple guests told Emily and Michael how much they loved the drinks, and the energy behind the bar was just as memorable.
“All the bartenders were joyful and having fun” Emily shared. “We loved having an open bar; our guests could sit back and relax and truly enjoy the reception.”
